I loved this! Such an inspiring story. Edna was remarkable. And to have the chance to attend lectures by CS Lewis, how wonderful.

What a "stinker" Hobhouse must have been, I never made the connection to Healey until the end. She sounds like a wonderful girl and woman.

Agreed, I'd have said so myself but found out he was killed fighting in the war. Edna and her generation fascinate me and I'm going to write more about them in future. Thank you!

I’m not familiar with Edna Healy, but I loved the story anyway. Imagine being eighteen and never having been farther than two hours from home...
