What a great stateswoman. I agree with her strategy of just pushing for whatever you can achieve at any given time, and taking what you can get. You can't always achieve everything all at once. Persistence usually pays off even if it takes a long time.

I think the influence of Rathbone and other pioneering women reformers on Keynes/Keynesian economic revolution is overlooked - at least, I've read a lot on Keynes and the depression period and rarely hear them mentioned.
